Taken from the Honest Girl Scouts campaign. For a campaign trying to get people /not/ to buy cookies and /not/ support the GSUSA, this is doing an awful lot to suddenly make me want /to/ support the GSUSA. (and I’m saying this a a former Girl Scout of about 6 years who hasn’t bought cookies in years because they’re too expensive). 

I see so much acceptance here, and especially in a time in children’s lives where acceptance is so important, taking that away from them is just cruel.

God dammit, why can’t the BSA be this good? I’m almost disappointed in becoming an Eagle Scout

excellent job, girl scouts of america! you’re actually being productive towards empowering girls!

This actually makes me even prouder to have been a Girl Scout for so many years.

Heaven forbid an organization created to foster a sense of empowerment in girls and young women actually admits to and stands in support of issues that are important to all women.

Not to mention that it’s a youth group promoting such “outrageous” things as knowledge and acceptance.

The” Honest Girl Scouts Campaign” only serves as a shameful display of the kind of ignorant, bigoted, and outdated mentality that needs to be completely eradicated from the face of the earth.

Buying all the girl scout cookies I can from Adam’s niece if she comes around

this makes me SO FUCKING PROUD to be a former Girl Scout. I will buy all the Girl Scout cookies this year.
